That’s right – we are still taking applications to attend the 14th Australian Venture. But BE QUICK!
There are advantages to getting your applications in as soon as possible:
1. The sooner you get your application in, the more likely you are to get the expedition you want. Expeditions are filling FAST so check out the website to make sure your choices are still available.
2. The sooner you get your application in, the cheaper it will be. As the cost of fuel rises, the cost of airline flights continues to increase which will mean you could incur additional costs in getting here. You will need to check with your Contingent about the cost of flights and if you might have to pay more. (The later you leave it, the more expensive they get).
3. The sooner you get your application in, the better we can make the Venture! The planning requires us to budget our resources based on the number of people coming. The more people we know are coming, the better we can make it for you.

Important Dates:
15 August 2008 – You can still apply - but applications received after this date may not be guaranteed to receive their Contingent kit in time for the Venture. Check with your Contingent if this applies to you.
1 October 2008 – You can still apply - but applications received after this date may not be guaranteed to received either their Contingent Kit* or Venture issue* merchandise in time for the Venture or perhaps at all.
1 December 2008 – Applications CLOSE. Applications will not be accepted by the Venture Organising Committee after this date.
*Refunds will not be issued for any Venture or Contingent issue merchandise unable to be provided as a result of the late submission of the application.
